The Hospice Campaign for Napa Valley

Life gives us many things, but what it cannot give us is the ability to live forever. One of the most life-affirming gifts any community can give itself is the support needed to cope with the life-altering change of losing someone we love.

When hospice care began in Napa Valley in 1979, it solidified the dreams of many in the valley who realized gentle and sophisticated care as urgently needed services for the terminally ill and their caregivers.

Today, 30 years later, Hospice serves the entire Napa Valley with programs for patients, families and their loved ones.  It’s integrated approach to serving the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of individuals and families and its gentle approach, underlines its success. The team of nurses, social workers, home health aides, rehabilitative services, chaplains, and volunteers, working with a patients primary physician, provides comfort and dignity, while often enabling someone to remain in their own home during their final days.

We encourage you to share in our story.
